Programs

Current Programs & Activities

Emergency Relief

CIDKP helps survivors of military attack or natural disaster provide for themselves the way they know best by giving them cash-based assistance alongside critical emergency items.

Livelihoods & Rehabilitation

IDPs away from home often need to learn new skills to support themselves. CIDKP runs trainings on higher-skilled trades such as weaving, sewing, animal husbandry, shopkeeping, and motorcycle repair.

Community Support

CIDKP supports communities who want to rebuild and restore their towns by providing assistance with proposal-writing, funding, monitoring & evaluation, good governance, and more.

Since the military coup in 2021, the number of IDPs in South-East Myanmar has risen from 200,000 to 1.1 million. CIDKP provides aid regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, nationality, religion, political affiliation, and social status.
